Registration will close on Oct. 5. Please make sure you register by this date. We need a complete list so that we can provide numbers to our caterers and also finalize the schedule of presenters. If you have been accepted for a talk or poster and have not registered, we will assume you are not coming and you will not be included in the list of presenters.
First Round of Reviews Complete!

Congratulations to students who have been accepted for talks and posters! The poster session is scheduled for Friday October 16, 1:15 – 2:45. Oral presentations are scheduled for Friday (late afternoon) and Saturday. We are currently working on a schedule for oral presentations. Please refer to the event schedule for more information. We will continue to post acceptances for those who submitted after the Sept. 13 deadline – please stay tuned. If you submitted an abstract before Sept. 13 and have not yet received any notification, please contact cupc@mcmaster.ca – some of the email notifications came back as undeliverable..
Late Abstract Submission Closing Date

The last day to submit an abstract for consideration at CUPC is Friday Sept. 25. Since late submissions will be considered in our secondary review round, notifications of acceptance will be delayed.
Student Travel Award Through CINP
September 16, 2026
We recently became aware of the following travel award – please note the application deadline is soon!
The CINP is making available two student travel awards to the Canadian Undergraduate Physics Conference (CUPC). Each award will be for up to $750.00 towards student travel expenses. Faculty or associate level CINP members who are supervising an undergraduate enrolled at a Canadian university on a nuclear physics research topic are asked to apply for the travel award on behalf of their student. Application deadline is Friday Sept. 18. For more information go to the CINP website.
“The Canadian Institute of Nuclear Physics – Institut canadien de physique nucléaire – is a formal organization of the Canadian nuclear physics research community to promote excellence in nuclear research and education, and to advocate the interests and goals of the community both domestically and abroad. CINP is a Nuclear Sponsor of CUPC 2026 and is supporting two nuclear physics students to travel to CUPC 2026 to McMaster University on October 15-18, 2026.”
