High School and Cégep Delegates

Thank you to all who applied to attend CUPC 2021! All selected High School and Cégep applicants have now been contacted by email.

This year, we would like to extend an invitation for this year’s CUPC to senior high school and Cégep students. With exclusive events for these students, we would love for dedicated and curious high school students to join undergraduate physics students from all across Canada from November 4th to 7th at CUPC. They will be able to attend keynote speeches, sit in on panels, attend workshops and learn from well-established physicists as well as student research presentations regarding physics. At CUPC, we believe that learning, discussing, and exploring physics outside of the classroom setting is beneficial to everyone, especially the individuals who show a keen interest in the field.

We are looking to invite students who will be in their final year of study at the high school or Cégep level during the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. As this event is traditionally for undergraduate students, teachers can nominate a maximum of two (2) students from their school whom they believe show a passion for physics and will benefit from attending the conference. Please note we will require a $5 registration fee (+ tax and processing fees) from all high school students who are selected to attend the event.

If you have any questions feel free to contact us directly, we look forward to receiving applications and inspiring the next generation of physicists!

Note: Current senior students attending a Canadian university in the 2021-2022 year who are interested in attending the conference should contact the physics department at their university to register for the event by September.
