Directions to the U of G Campus
The University of Guelph Directions to Campus website provides detailed instructions for getting to the campus from different regions in southwestern Ontario. Bus routes are also outlined on this website.
For people flying into any of Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Region of Waterloo International Airport in Kitchener-Waterloo, or Hamilton International Airport in Hamilton, the University of Guelph typically makes use of Red Car Service to get back and forth between the airport and Guelph.
Directions from Campus to the Delta Hotel
- Leaving from South Ring Rd E, take a left on Gordon St
- Turn right onto Stone Rd W
- At the first lights, turn left
- Turn left on Research Ln
- Drive on towards the Delta Hotel parking lot.

Map of CUPC Event Facilities
CUPC 2022 events will be mostly held at the Delta Hotels Guelph Conference Centre, with two exceptions:
- the Karaoke in the Bullring event on Friday night will be held at the iconic Bullring on the University of Guelph campus
- the Student Poster Presentations (13:00 to 15:00 on Saturday) and Grad/Industry Fair (13:30 to 18:00) events will be held in Peter Clark Hall, located in the basement of the University of Guelph’s University Centre.

Parking
For people driving to Guelph, free parking is available in the Delta Parking lot for the entirety of the conference (Thursday to Sunday inclusive).
For those coming in for the Grad & Industry Fair, which will be in Peter Clark Hall (located in the basement of the University Centre), there is parking available on University of Guelph’s campus in the P31 lot, located behind the Gryphon statue and accessible via South Ring Road.
Weekdays between 8:00am and 6:00pm
Permits are required for on campus parking during these hours, so please park in the visitor lot. The visitor lot is located on the left side of the P31 lot, behind the visitor kiosk. This area is paid during these hours and can be paid via HONK mobile.
Weekdays after 6:00pm or Weekends
Permits are not required to park on campus during these hours – parking in any permitted lot is free. We recommend P31, as it is closest to the University Centre. A map of Campus parking can be found here.

Other Accommodations
As an alternative to the Delta, delegates may be interested in the Days Inn, located just down Gordon St. from the Delta. The link to the Days Inn website can be found by clicking here.
Accommodation Reimbursement
For those attending in-person, the CUPC team is offering a $100 per room per night accommodation reimbursement to all attendees! If you are paying for accommodations to attend the conference (hotel, Airbnb or other), you are eligible for this reimbursement. To take advantage of this offer, please email the below information to the CUPC team at cupc2022@uoguelph.ca.
Your official receipt: Please be sure there is an order number or name attached to the receipt. This is to ensure that multiple people aren’t submitting the same receipt.
Your full name: Either your full name, or the full name of person the reimbursement cheque is to be made out to.
Your address: This is to ensure we can mail you the cheque in the event we don’t get it to you during the conference.
The names of your roommates: If you are sharing a room with other CUPC attendees, please ensure to include their full names.
To receive your reimbursement cheque by the conference this information must be submitted by Tuesday October 18th, 2022. Delegates that submit their information to us after October 18th will have their reimbursement cheque mailed to them.
